It appears that I was wrong.

There may, indeed, be an acceptable use of the phrase "pregnant person":

Ha! I totally thought of you when I read that article, too. Because of the whole "pregnant person" diatribe, not because you're a trannie. Because you're not a trannie. I know you know that, I just wanted you to know that I know that. My, this has really gone off the rails, hasn't it?

Someday, when I'm the world's acknowledged most important grammarian, you'll be sorry you laughed at me.

(Hmm. I wonder which would bring more mockery: being the world's most important grammarian or being a would-be transvestite. Somehow I suspect the former.)
